Our verdict
A two-piece "WKF style" club guard from Blitz with three rear straps, a removable foot guard and a published shin-and-instep size guide. It is the highest-priced guard here, and it is not from a WKF-listed brand.
Blitz describes the Elite as part of its "WKF style" karate elite range. It is a two-piece guard in "Nama Hide" leather (Blitz does not say whether it is genuine or synthetic), and the shin and foot pieces can be worn together or separately.
The shin guard fastens with three adjustable rear hook-and-loop straps. The foot guard has hook-and-loop straps around the heel and elastic straps across the insole and toes. The guard is UKCA and CE marked and wipe-clean, in blue, red and white, XX-Small to X-Large. Blitz publishes shin and instep lengths for Small to X-Large. It does not describe the padding.
"WKF style" describes the design, not an approval. Blitz is not on WKF's approved list for shin pads and foot protectors. Under WKF rules, those must be WKF Approved in kumite (WKF Kumite Competition Rules 2026, Art. 2.2.7(d) and (e)). Blitz positions it for karate training and sparring.
Club karateka who want a strapped two-piece guard with a measured size guide for regular training and sparring.
You compete under WKF rules: see the adidas 661.35. You're on a budget: see the Bytomic Red Label.
Pros
- Shin and foot pieces worn together or separately, with three rear hook-and-loop straps on the shin, per Blitz
- Shin and instep lengths published for Small to X-Large
- UKCA and CE marked, in blue, red and white
Cons
- Blitz is not on WKF's approved list; "WKF style" is a design description
- The highest price in this category, with the padding not described
- XX-Small and X-Small are sold without size-guide measurements
Why we rated it this way
Approval: Blitz is not among the brands WKF lists for shin pads and foot protectors; "WKF style" is Blitz's design wording.
Protection (3): UKCA and CE marking and the two-piece shin-and-instep coverage are stated, but the padding is not described - rated on the published description, never on an injury-prevention claim.
Comfort (4): Blitz documents the fastening in detail - three rear straps, heel straps and elastic insole and toe straps - and publishes both shin and instep lengths, which no other guard here does in text.
Durability (3): "Nama Hide" is Blitz's material name, not confirmed as leather; no independent durability evidence.
Value (2): the highest price here, above the guard from the WKF-listed brand, with the padding undescribed - this reflects price against the evidence, not a judgement of the guard's quality.
