BCCMA's Light Sanda rules list an open-face head guard as compulsory equipment (BCCMA Light Sanda rules 2024, Rule 11.1). They also prohibit striking to or at the face (Rule 18.1.1).
So this listing shows only an open-face guard. Its maker describes a cut-away profile that still covers the brow, cheeks and temples. Guards with full cheek protectors or a nose bar are not listed for Sanda. The maker's approval claims for this guard relate to boxing, not to BCCMA or IWUF.
Light Sanda organisers may supply some or all of the equipment (Rule 11). Under IWUF's Sanda rules, headgear is IWUF-approved protective gear in red or blue (IWUF Sanda rules 2024, Articles 7.1 and 7.3). Check the event's rules before you buy for a bout.
