Our verdict
A traditional black kung fu suit in 100% cotton, titled 9oz medium weight: the full suit here with both a fabric weight and a composition published. The jacket has toggle fasteners, and the trousers have an elastic and cord waist and elasticated ankles. Sashes are sold separately.
PMA's Medium Weight 9oz Suit is sold through Playwell Martial Arts' own store. The store names PMA as the manufacturer and shows the PMA brand with the Playwell Martial Arts logo. Playwell describes a traditional black suit in 100% cotton, titled 9oz and described as medium weight. It lists black cuffs and black toggle fasteners on the jacket, and trousers with an elastic and cord waist and elasticated ankles in every size.
The suit comes in numbered sizes by height, from 3/160cm to 7/200cm, and Playwell says sashes are sold separately. Playwell does not name the cut or the weave, publishes no size chart beyond the size names, and says nothing about shrinkage or care. We record all of these as not confirmed.
