ASICS is a sportswear brand. According to its UK website, it was founded in post-war Japan by Kihachiro Onitsuka. ASICS says its name stands for "Anima Sana In Corpore Sano" (a sound mind in a sound body), and describes its range as performance footwear and apparel.

ASICS sells its wrestling shoes in GBP through its own UK online store.
