Cleto Reyes

Cleto Reyes is a specialist Mexican boxing-glove maker producing traditional lace-up boxing gloves, including a dedicated Training Gloves line distinct from its Contest Gloves line. Cleto Reyes himself worked in a saddlery workshop as a young man before making and repairing boxing gloves following his own boxing background; Cleto Reyes gloves were used in a World Championship fight in 1945 - not a claimed founding date for the company.

Its gloves are genuine leather with a lace closure, a format widely understood in boxing to trade a more secure, adjustable fit for less convenience in solo training (no assistance needed to tighten hook-and-loop).
